Alternative Shoe Box Design:
More than just a container, this alternative take on a shoe box mirrors both the construction and ethos of shoes themselves. Physically and visually ‘light’, the layered translucency of the box embodies the shoe.
Constructed without glue, the form takes shape through a simple yet carefully considered interlocking of flat sheets. A box and a bag in one, it becomes a walking advertisment.

FOOD WASTE PROJECT ︎︎︎
Interactive website design concept:
Approximately one third of all food production in South Africa goes to waste, a country in which roughly 30% of people go hungry.
Initially greeted by the seemingly lifeless paragraphs of data, users uncover various animations (visually representing the data) as they drag their cursor over the text. Using imagery, text and various effects, the animations seek to give life to the largly silant issue.
